— The Induction · from 22 September

Three private sessions. Then everything opens up.

Every new client at in2Movement starts with the Induction, whatever their experience: three one-to-one sessions with an instructor, at your pace, before you join a group. It’s how we make sure your first group class feels like your tenth.

Why we ask everyone to do it

A group class moves at the pace of the group. Without the Induction, a beginner slows the room down and gets less out of it. With it, everyone in the room already knows the equipment, the vocabulary and the cues, so the instructor can teach instead of translate. It’s also where we learn how your body moves, so we can look after it properly from day one.

01
Welcome conversation

Book your introduction online or by phone. We'll learn what brought you in, any injuries or goals, and match you with the right instructor for your starting point.

02
Private Session 1

Assessment. Movement patterns, breath, posture, alignment. We introduce the Reformer and begin the fundamentals of the method.

03
Private Session 2

Deepen the foundations. Core principles applied, more of the apparatus introduced, your questions answered.

04
Private Session 3

Integration. You're ready for group — and you leave this session knowing the vocabulary, the cues, and how your body responds.

05
Join group classes

From here, group classes are fully available. Your instructor still checks in, and privates remain available whenever you want to go deeper.

Coming from another Reformer studio? You still do the Induction. It’s shorter in feel than in name, and it’s how we learn how you move.
